Tools and Equipment¶

You will need the following tools and equipment to manufacture a Sidekick Model 3 (Bookshelf Form-Factor):

Laser cutter
3D printer
Laptop/Computer (for flashing firmware to Teensy microcontrollers, and flashing SD cards for Beaglebones)
(Optional) Soldering iron or heat gun to apply heatshrink
(Optional) Voltmeter while troubleshooting
(Optional) 3V Power Supply while troubleshooting
(Optional) Oscilloscope while troubleshooting

All other required tools are inexpensive, and are listed in the bill of materials.
